Sprinkle a fine line or borax powder along flooring in your bedroom or around any other furniture where you have previously spotted bed bugs. Borax powder is made from boric acid. It will not harm you or anyone in your family and will not emit an unpleasant odor. If any bed bugs walk through the powder, however, their exoskeletons will be punctured and they will become dehydrated within in a few days.
